About US

Brief History

The U.S. Military Vets MC was established in 1987, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and is incorporated as a non-profit organization. The club is a national organization that strives to achieve the following:

Club Objectives

  • To provide a club for qualified military male veterans which offers brotherhood and an opportunity to establish relationships with other military veterans who have served in the defense of the United States of America.
  • To establish and support a strong sense of pride in having served in active military service of the United States of America.
  • To improve the image of military veterans and bikers to the general public.

Who are the First Few

We are called the “First Few” because in 1999 The Atlanta Chapter was the first chapter of the US Military Vets Motorcycle Club in the state of Georgia. At that time there were only a few brothers in the chapter, so they took to that with pride. Since that time the US Military Vets MC has grown exponentially in Georgia.

The First Few enjoys our reputation for supporting all of our Georgia Chapters by attending their major events and for always enjoying Shenanigans and Tom-Foolery (STF) together!!!

Message from the Chapter President

Most of our members (brothers) were attracted to the club because they missed the brotherhood that they had while serving in the military and they enjoyed riding their motorcycle. These are the biggest things that the club is about. Brotherhood and riding our motorcycles together. Let me add that we are an MC and function in the traditions of the MC World. Simply put this is a brotherhood and entrance into the brotherhood is earned not purchased. If you are only looking for some superficial friends to ride your motorcycle with and to wear some kind of patch that you purchased from the group on your back, this is NOT the place for you. If you are looking for a deep brotherhood and you believe that this is a fit for you, you will go through a Probationary phase where you will learn about the club and earn the trust and respect of the men that you want to join with as a brother. The hope is that all of brothers are a “brother for life” and not just going through a phase of life.

If you are still reading and believe that this may be a fit for you, go to the Membership Process page to learn more and then reach out to us on the Contact Us Page.

My name is Spurs and I am the current President of the Atlanta Chapter, US Military Vets MC also known as the First Few as explained above. Thank you for finding our page and being interested enough to read this far.
